Today in US History
Not much happened ….

Monday Morning Blues

“If it was up to me, I would have thrown this bearded, sandal-wearing flag burner into jail, but it was not up to me," Scalia told the students. To Scalia, flag burning was protected by the founding fathers in the First Amendment, which is his only criterion, he says, under originalism. Good interview with Justice Scalia, which I could of seen the edited parts. From this interview there are tow things I gathered: One that Scalia does his job with out bias, Two that Leslie Stahl’s interpretation and understanding of the law is equivalent to that of a third grader.
